I don’t often have a radio playing, or music on. Instead, we like to cruise various online video sites, and randomly pick songs. We like everything from Toby Keith and Garth Brooks, to classical instrumental pieces. We can’t forget the mood stirring tunes such as Nazareth either, or the silver pipes of Barry White.  Our music choices all depend on our moods- from rowdy and ready to play, to needing the peace of “Hallelujah” when emotional turmoil strikes. Of course, one of our favorite activities is to find funny music videos and turn up the volume and watch our sons dance. Some of the music parodies by our military are hilarious to start with, and add in watching our little guys dancing is a gut buster for sure.

We live in a small (small!) house, close to several neighbors. I’ve never lived this close to other neighbors before, and I must say I find it disconcerting to say the least. Our house is old, and tired. And for an active growing family of two adults, two growing and energetic boys, one large dog, and now one small cat, we are bursting at the seams. What was once a quaint kitchen is overwhelmed with the amount of food I must produce to feed my husband and sons each day. We eat in the living room, as there is no room in the kitchen for a dining room table to fit all four of us. Our bedrooms, once cozy and snug, are now tight and full of toys. We need to either add on, or move. I’d like to move myself, and be farther away from neighbors!

Doggy outfits can be very cute, but not all dogs like to wear them.  Some dogs panic in clothes.  But if you are lucky to have a dog who doesn’t mind it, it can be very fun.  When searching for dog clothes, you can get both male and female outfits, as well as outfits related to the season.  Dog clothes come in all sizes and price ranges.  They are also easy to make.  Doggy clothes patterns are even available online if you want to make your own dog clothes.  Just measure your dog and follow the pattern and making your dog clothes is as easy as that.  The pattern can then be modified into doggie costumes as well, so your dog can be dressed up while you go trick or treating.  However you decide to choose your dog clothes, make sure to have fun in the process. Last week I received a new Boston terrier puppy for an Anniversary present from my husband.  Not only did he buy the dog but he thought the gift through and bought a bundle of accessories and necessities for the new dog.  One of my favorite things was the dog collar and name tag that he got.  We like to use breakaway dog collars, which I believe are the safest especially for active, young puppies.  Also the design of the collar had numbers and math symbols all over.  I am an algebra teacher at a local high school, so this collar was the perfect match.  This gift was a success and I will love and cherish this dog forever and my husband even more.
