The other day, my husband and our sons ran errands before my husband’s work shift started. We had a rare chance to go out to eat- something we have not done as a family in quite a while- and we stopped at a local diner. The diner used to be known for fantastic food. However- something changed, because the food was pretty bad. My husband ordered a chicken fried steak, and hash browns, our sons had waffles, and I had scrambled eggs with toast and bacon. My husband’s meal was only half cooked, my eggs were cold and rubbery, and the bacon never did arrive. The boys were happy with their meal- even if it was cold when it got to them. As we prepared to leave, I dropped a penny face down on the table by way of a tip. We won’t be back to that establishment.

My old dog was a sixty pound, golden hair mix of a Shepherd and Retriever. She couldn’t quite accept her weight, however and much of her time was spent jumping on furniture and myself. She would play all day with only one toy. It had to be thick latex chew toy with foam inside that squeaked. She would play with her noisy toy at all hours of the day. Most nights she would jump into my bed, keeping me wide awake. Eventually I bought her a memory foam orthopedic dog bed, hoping it would keep her slobber off my pillow. Sadly, the bed was not silicon and it did not make inhuman amounts of noise and she would have nothing to do with it.

Volleyball has become one of my favorite sports. It is fun to play and is fun to watch. I especially enjoy playing it in the summer in the sand. Playing sand volleyball allows you to get a good workout and spend time with friends. I would rather play sand because it’s easy to dive for balls without fearing hitting the hard gym floor. It is more active, and you can get a tan at the same time! I have found that volleyball is not only good stress relief as well but it has helped me to tighten and tone my body. Playing competitively has become a hobby of mine and is easy to do for someone of any age. There are many leagues for children as well as adults.

I own a Gateway laptop, in fact I have owned several Gateway laptops. They are fast, efficient, and portable. Those are the only good things about them. My biggest complaint is that they do not stay charge. My battery is constantly dying and eventually the day comes where the battery does not even charge anymore. The charger becomes bent and will not fit anymore. When this happens it costs just as much to fix the problem as it would be to buy a new one. For this reason I have stopped buying Gateways and my next computer will be a different brand.
