Christmas!
By admin
This is absolutely my favorite time of year. Working in retail does make it somewhat bittersweet, however. I still love the music, the movies, the feeling. There really is something magical about it. I very much enjoy shopping for friends and family. It is about the only time I enjoy shopping. I generally hate to shop, especially when stores are crowded. Even though this time of year is the worst for crowds, I’m still able to enjoy it because it is Christmas. It’s amazing to me how many people let stress and frustrations get to them around this time. This should be the time where everyone lets their problems go and just enjoy what they can.
Four Seasons

Growing up in Southern California, I always believed that whole “four seasons” thing was just a myth. Not really. Having moved to Tennessee, however, I have come to discover that there are in fact four very different seasons and I have come to enjoy each of them for their uniqueness. Just when I’m getting sick of the heat in the summer, it starts to cool off. Then when I am absolutely fed up with freezing weather and gray skies, life starts to reemerge in the spring. It’s really fascinating to witness. I don’t know why anyone would think that Southern California is a beautiful place after living here.
Comfort
By admin
The second I walk in my front door I head straight for my pajamas. I hate to be home and wearing my work clothes, or jeans, or anything that isn’t 100% comfort. So today, being that I have not left my house, all I’ve worn is jogging pants, and one of my boyfriends t-shirts. I do often wish that it were socially acceptable to wear clothes like this all the time. Well, maybe socially acceptable is not the right term. Really, I wish I wouldn’t be viewed as a lazy slob. I feel that it is quite logical to wear clothes like this on a regular basis. Why shouldn’t comfort be a priority when it comes to fashion?
Money Does Buy Happiness
By admin
Recently a customer at my work told me “Don’t you ever believe that saying ‘money doesn’t buy happiness’ because it does!” and frankly, I believe it can. Of course that all depends on what makes you happy. I feel that at this point in my life I have everything I could ever want that money can’t buy. I have an amazing boyfriend, whom I plan to marry, a wonderful family, and a positive outlook on life. So at this point, if I could have anything in the world, it would just be a whole lot of money. I’ve realized that any time that I am stressed or unhappy it is due to money issues, so now, I feel like that’s all I need to feel complete.
