Escaping the City
By admin
City life tends to wear quite heavily on me. All the cement, the lack of green, the signs of society’s decay lying under cardboard near the overpass, it all serves to remind me that there are too many people on this planet, and I live too near to most of them. Usually this builds inside of me until one morning, usually while standing in the shower, I can take no more. I get dressed, throw a trunk in my car, and drive north until I am well away from any major infrastructure. I find a parking lot, and then being to walk away from that as well. Usually for a good few hours I walk, and then I stay right there in that spot for several days camping.
