It used to be my opinion that dogs are not people, and that they should not be dressed up as such, but I recently changed my mind when my dog showed a lot of excitement, after I put a simple scarf around her neck. I never would have thought it to be appropriate for a dog to wear a Halloween dog sweater vest, dogs are not humans after all… but I changed my mind when I realize that some dogs do actually show joy, from being dressed up. I don’t know if it’s simply that my dog thinks she’s making me happy, or if it truly makes her happy, to have that cute purple scarf around her neck, but it gave me the impression that I could get her a dog jacket this year for Halloween, and she’d probably be pretty excited about it.
