Everyone knows when you bring home a new puppy it likes to chew. All puppies will begin chewing on whatever they can sink their teeth into. Dogs do this as a natural instinct due to their teeth coming in not to bother us. The best idea is to buy the puppy a chew toy! There are many different toys that are sold for that purpose. As the puppy gets older it will have a lot more energy and that would be a great time to purchase a regular dog toy or dog toys. Balls, plastic toys with noise makers inside them and rope toys are just a few examples. Be sure to keep your dog active and research any purchase you make. The dog toy or toys you purchase need to be age appropriate and safe for your new family friend.
